Study visits Ghent on Management and Evidence-based Practice
The virtual reflective seminar was organized in order to present the curriculum and study material of the planned CPD courses. The first day waswithin regional partners in each PA country facilitated by PR HEIs. The second day is common for all and facilitated by HG. During the seminars the prepared courses will be reflected upon and further developed for piloting. There are two parallel educational objectives. The first is to promote user-involvement and multi-professional collaboration among partners. The second is learning different strategies to develop CPD-courses and study material on different educational levels. Specifying the competence according to EQF is an important part. It´s was the main objective of this tutor visit to Piloting courses EQF levels 6 and 7, give feedback on the strategies for courses implementation and monitorization and support the development of the teacher´s network in order to further implement previously learnt methodologies in education. The tutors involved were Antonio Alves Lopes (ESSA, Portugal) and Tiago Príncipe (HANZE UA, Netherlands). The tutors involved in this visit were Maria Rosado (ESSA, Portugal) and Eija Raatikainen (Metropolia, Finland). The activities performed included, meeting with the representatives of Project partners, discussion of project progress and the piloting at Heimerer College and Gjakova University. Presentations of the syllabus of the courses with the new learning methodology at Heimerer College, sharing of best practices between tutors and relevant professors, discussions about the dissemination plans, practical monitoring of the CPD course on Management Competence in Community Based Rehabilitation, EQF level 7 – Project based learning. During the meeting besides the tutors and study circle members, this visit had also the participation of the external evaluator Mr. Glyn Heath.
It´s was the main objective of this tutor visit to evaluate and monitor the process of developing the handbook and discuss the implementation on the courses (WP3). The tutors involved were Antonio Alves Lopes (ESSA, Portugal) and Stijn De Baets (Artevelde University College Ghent, Belgium). The activities performed included discussion with the study circles, Seminar with heads and deputies of the rehab centers and primary care organisations in the Saint Petersburg area and Seminar for doctors and social workers "Social rehabilitation in Europe" mainly for explaining the principles of social rehabilitation and the SOCRE project. The Tutors also did some site visits like the center for rehabilitation of children with disabilities and the Center of Social rehabilitation "Rodnik" to have a broader view on the ‘context’ of the partners in Archangelsk and Saint Petersburg.
Since one of the goals of the SOCRE project is dissemination of the ongoing project results, the SOCRE consortium submitted an abstract to present during the ENOTHE conference In Zahreb, Croatia, which was accepted as an oral presentation. Two partners were present at this conference to answer questions and give explanation about the SOCRE project (Artevelde University College Ghent, Belgium & Heimerer College, Pristina, Kosovo). The main topics of this conference were Global Health Trends, Education, Training and innovation. A Significant group of interested people attended the presentation. [huge_it_gallery id="7"]
Third event of the SOCRE project took place in Portugal from 11 till 15 of September 2017, in the meeting were present 39 participants from Kosovo, Russia, Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium and Finland. Four days of workshop were divided in themes. Themes for the days were: Reflections of the previous topics (WP 1 & 2); Developing the topic WP 3 - Competences in user involvement and multi-professional rehabilitation; Discussion of the Social Rehabilitation needs of each Institution/Study Circle – input for CPD courses; Presentation and Discussion of specific proposals for CPD courses for the different EQF levels (make a concrete plan for WP 3.1) As in the other events, the week was very intense and participants were pleased on the results of the workshop.
